Impromptu Op. 142, No. 2 for Clarinet Quartet
This Impromptu by Franz Schubert is the second of four pieces written as part of his opus 142. Beginning with simple chords and a sweet melody, the middle section breaks away with arpeggiated triplets and a more frenetic pace, all before returning to the melody he started with. This arrangement works for high-schooled aged clarinetists and above and would be an excellent clarinet quartet for solo and ensemble festivals.
Includes Score (12 pgs.) and 5 Parts: Clarinet in B-Flat 1, Clarinet in B-Flat 2, Clarinet in B-Flat 3 or Basset Horn, Bass Clarinet
